TWO cars were stolen from an Edithvale house and one later used in an attempted factory robbery, overnight Sunday 26 November.
The owners said keys to two Subarus – one a black 2004 Imprezza (registration SVC537) and the other a black 2016 sedan (1HO7AV) – were kept in a bowl in the kitchen.
The cars were at the Nepean Highway house at 2am but reportedly taken by 9am.
CCTV footage at a factory in Teton Court, Highett, later in the morning shows a man standing behind the 2016 Subaru. Police said he was unsuccessful in jemmying open to the door to the premises and to a nearby shipping container.
