POWER tools and electronic testing equipment was stolen from a tradie’s car parked outside his Aspendale house, overnight Friday 2 March.
Earlier, the man had heard noises in a neighbour’s garage on Nepean Highway and looked down to see three Caucasian men rummaging through his car.
He ran down to confront the offenders but backed off and they ran away.
He then checked his own car and found the tools gone. A packet of cigarettes was on his front seat.
One of the men was about 183cm tall and the other two about 170cm tall.
Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers 1800 333 000.
