A WOMAN is wanted for allegedly using a stolen credit card in Parkdale. Police say that the card was stolen from a Parkdale op shop at around 3pm on 9 August. The card was later used at other shops in the area. Police have released an image of the woman who used the card. Police describe her as “in her 50s and has a European accent”. FOR a third year running, Mordialloc’s Dan Maitland will lead a group in the Stride4Stroke fun run. The run is a personal one for Maitland. His sister Bec survived a stroke in 2016, one she suffered aged just 28. AFTER two years of COVID-19 cancellations, the Frankston Christmas Festival of Lights returns this weekend. The festival has been running for more than two decades. A MAN was taken to hospital with critical injuries after being hit by a car in Frankston, 11 November. The pedestrian was crossing Frankston-Cranbourne Road near Beach Street at around 6.45pm when they were hit. Police say the car involved was a white ute, and that the driver stopped to help. The man was in a critical condition as he was taken to hospital.
