THE enrolment process for Frankston kindergartens is under review. Currently council considers a number of factors when it comes to kinder enrolment. A PLAN for the future of Frankston’s city centre has been released. Frankston Council has begun community consultation on its Metropolitan Activity Centre Structure Plan. Council says the document will “set out a framework to guide the development of our city centre over the next 20 years, providing clear direction on land uses, housing, built form, employment, streetscapes and open space, and movement and transport.” Council ran a survey earlier this year asking residents what they wanted to see in the city centre. THE state government has committed $2 million towards dredging at Mordialloc Creek. THE state government and opposition have both promised to spend $12.6 million upgrading Mordialloc College if successful at this month’s election. The Victorian Liberals say the money would be used for a new building to house science, technology, engineering, and maths classes. Mordialloc College is a high school with more than 1200 students.
