CAR owners are being reminded to keep their car keys out of sight in the house, after another prestige car theft in Mount Eliza on Monday night or early Tuesday morning, 20-21 June. A white Audi was stolen from a house in Kunyung Road after thieves got into the locked house and stole the car keys while the occupants were asleep. A PROGRAM for people living with disabilities has received a grant funding boost from Frankston Council. Eight businesses were recently awarded the ratepayer-funded business grants. The Perpetual People Co in Frankston received more than $28,000 to go towards setting up a gardening program and a sports program. Perpetual people Co-owner Prini Swinton-Lee said that the grant funding will “do so much good to the people that we support.” “It opens up the opportunity for our clients to work in the community as well as become self-sufficient such as learning to grow their own fruit and veggies at home,” she said.…

THE Carrum Bowling Club has received a $9000 grants from the state government. The funding will go towards sending women at the club to coaching and umpiring courses. THE state government has announced a series of huge reforms to kinder. From next year, parents will be able to access 15 hours of government-funded three-year-old kinder for free. Four-year-old kinder will also be made free, and will undergo a complete transformation over the next decade.
