MOUNT Eliza North Primary School student Ella Seaburgh will compete in the School Sport Australia Championship as part of the 11 to 19 years and under Victorian team in Queensland in September. The 12-year-old participated in a structured trial process to be selected for the aquathon/triathlon. She is dedicated to her sport, competing as a nipper every summer at Mornington Life Saving Club, training in open swimming, boarding and beach running. NEWLY re-elected Isaacs MP Mark Dreyfus has been appointed attorney-general of Australia. The widely expected appointment was confirmed by Prime Minister Anthony Albanese last week. PRELIMINARY designs for the planned skyrail in Parkdale have been released. The Level Crossing Removal Project will build rail over road to replace two level crossings at Warrigal Road and Parkers Road. A new Parkdale Station will be built. Concepts for the elevated rail and precinct underneath it have been released by the LXRP. THE lighting at Seaford North Reserve will receive a big upgrade. The reserve is the home of the Seaford United Soccer Club, The state government has committed $200,000 to upgrade the lights at the pitch, and Frankston Council has also put in funding.
