Solidarity was the theme at Frankston’s IDAHOT Day flag raising ceremony at the Civic Centre flagpoles, Davey St, on Friday. The word stands for International Day Against Homophopia and Transphobia.
Frankston Council hosted the ceremony and morning tea to support the international day on Sunday 17 May.
The council raised the rainbow flag for the entire weekend in “solidarity with an inclusive community where all are welcome”.
This event was supported by schools, Headspace Frankston and Victoria Police.
