Police have released CCTV vision following an armed robbery at a bottle shop in Carrum Downs earlier this month.

Investigators believe two men, wearing bandanas over their faces and armed with tomahawks, entered the Hall Road shop about 8.55pm on Monday 9 November.

One of the offenders approached a male staff member at the front counter while the other bandit threatened another staff member near the fridge area and then walked him to the front of the store.

The two unknown men made demands for cash and the staff members complied, handing over an amount of money.

The pair left the store and were seen climbing into a white Ford sedan with distinctive black alloy wheels and number plate 1DQ4FS.

The vehicle was last seen travelling off along Hall Road and investigators have released CCTV of the alleged vehicle.

No one was injured during the armed robbery.

The offenders are perceived to be of Pacific Islander appearance.

One of the men is described as being approximately 180cm tall with a solid build.

He was wearing a grey hooded jumper, black pants and a peaked cap

The other man is described as being approximately 183cm tall with a solid build.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
