A WOMAN, 37, of no fixed address, was refused bail and remanded in custody after appearing at Moorabbin Magistrates’ Court last week.
She is facing 90 counts of burglary, theft, obtaining property by deception, car stealing, failing to answer bail and the “substantial” theft of mail from letterboxes in Kingston, Bayside and Monash over a two-month period.
The woman was arrested at a Cheltenham store earlier in the week when she allegedly used false documents to purchase items.
Detective Senior Constable Stephen Hemingway said the woman would reappear at the same court Thursday.
