Man stabbed in Seaford

Police are appealing for witnesses following a stabbing in Seaford this morning.

Police and emergency services were called to Carder Avenue around 10am after a man was located with life threatening injuries.

Police have been told that a 45-year-old Seaford man attended at an address on Boonong Avenue where he was involved in an altercation and sustained a stab wound in his lower back.

The victim then walked to a nearby address on Carder Avenue where the altercation continued and the victim received a slash injury to his neck.

The man is in hospital with what is believed to be life threatening injuries.

Police are currently looking for a 46-year-old Seaford man who they believe will be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as Caucasian in appearance, blue eyes with short grey blond hair.
