Missing Persons Squad detectives have arrested two men as the investigation into the death of Chelsea Heights teenager Cayleb Hough continues.
The 17-year-old boy’s remains were located in a shallow mineshaft in the Lerderderg State Park in Bacchus Marsh on Thursday 10 March and a homicide investigation was launched.
Investigators arrested a 36-year-old man at a house in Collingwood yesterday.
The Collingwood man remains in custody, assisting police with their enquiries.
Detectives also arrested a 28-year-old man at a Gellibrand property on Tuesday.
He was interviewed by detectives and has been released pending further enquiries.
A vehicle was also seized at the Gellibrand property and remains in police possession as the investigation into Cayleb’s death continues.
