AUSTRALIAN Air Force Cadets 406 Squadron is holding an open day, 10am-2pm, this Sunday 5 February, at their base at 35 Robinsons Rd, Frankston South.
Those interested are invited to experience first-hand what the cadets do in their training, such as bivouacs, training weekends, flying training, rifle training and social functions.
Cadets meet for three hours on Wednesdays during school term, with their first training night at 6.30pm, Wednesday 8 February.
The Australian Air Force Cadets celebrated their 75th anniversary last year and have a vision of reaching 10,000 cadets throughout Australia by 2020. They are looking for young, enthusiastic people to join them.
