A SEAFORD man has been charged with five counts of theft and two of attempted theft in relation to water meter thefts in the Bonbeach and Carrum area, Wednesday 24 January.
He was also charged with handling stolen goods and obtaining property by deception after allegedly trying to sell the meters. The man, 42, was bailed to appear at Frankston Magistrates’ Court in late May.
Detective Senior Constable Ashley Eames, of Frankston CIU, said he was investigating a series of water meter thefts in the Frankston area.
