Olivers Hill attack investigated

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an attempted armed robbery at the base of Oliver’s Hill just after 5am on 7 February.

Police said a 25 year old man was walking when we was approached by a man with a knife.

The man demanded the victim’s wallet, however the victim was not carrying it on him at the time.

Police said the victim was slashed on the arm and taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

The victim could not describe the man’s appearance, so police are looking for witnesses who were around the area at the time.
