A VICTORIAN Building Authority audit has revealed that 11 privately owned buildings in the Kingston municipality have been identified as having dangerous cladding.
Eight privately owned buildings in the Frankston municipality were “identified with cladding” as part of the VBA’s statewide audit into dangerous cladding. Mornington Peninsula Shire had two buildings identified as part of the audit.
Kingston Council is not signed up to the Cladding Rectification Scheme, a state government initiative designed to help provide financial support to people affected by dangerous cladding.
