Man critical following fall from vehicle in Frankston

Police are investigating after an incident in Frankston early this morning that has left a man with critical injuries.

It is alleged a 19-year-old Frankston man was sitting in the tray of a ute along with two other people.

The man fell from the ute as it was travelling along Heatherhill Road just after 2.30am.

He sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to hospital for treatment.

The driver and other passengers were not injured and are assisting police with their enquiries.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be determined at this stage.
