Teens arrested following Mordialloc stabbing

Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested six teenagers following a stabbing in Mordialloc on Friday 24 January.

It is alleged a 15-year-old boy was approached by a number of unknown youths on Main Street when they made demands for his property before assaulting him about 2.30pm.

The boy received a stab wound and serious head injuries and was taken to hospital.

All parties are known to each other.

Detectives arrested six teenagers this morning.

A 17-year-old Patterson Lakes boy has been charged and remanded with robbery and intentionally cause injury.

He will appear at a children’s court today.

A 14-year-old Frankston North boy, a 15-year-old Parkdale boy and a 16-year-old Clarinda girl have all been charged and bailed with robbery and intentionally cause injury.

They will all appear at a children’s court at a later date.

A 16-year-old Frankston boy and a 15-year-old Skye girl have been released pending further enquiries.
