A man has died following a three-vehicle collision in Frankston South this morning.

It is believed a van collided with a four-wheel drive which then crashed into a truck on the Peninsula Link, near Robinsons Road, about 6.40am.

The driver and sole occupant of the van died at the scene.

The sole occupants of the four-wheel drive and truck, both male, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Drivers are advised to avoid the Peninsula Link where possible.

Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
