Moorabbin Criminal Investigation Unit detectives are hoping to identify a man following a burglary in Mentone last month.
It is believed an unknown man has gained entry to the underground carpark on Collins Street about 9am on 25 June.
The man forced a roller door and then forced the padlocks open on some storage cages.
He has stolen a suitcase and some other items before leaving on foot.
Investigators have released an image of a man they believe will be able to assist with their enquiries.
