POLICE are investigating the use of bank cards stolen in Parkdale.

Moorabbin Crime Investigation Unit detectives have been told that a car was broken into in Parkdale on 28 August. A wallet was stolen from the vehicle.

Later that day, the stolen cards were used at stores in Mentone, Black Rock, and Beaumaris.

Investigators have released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to as part of their investigation. He is described by police as “caucasian in appearance, aged in his 40s, and of average height and build.”
