Vouchers sent out

VOUCHERS to be used at the Frankston Arts Centre or Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre are being sent out to Frankston residents.

Frankston Council approved the intuitive in their most recent budget. It is estimated to cost $1.1 million to ratepayers.

The voucher can also be used for a $25 at-call hard waste collection.

Frankston councillor Brad Hill said “the vouchers will give ratepayers the opportunity to experience these facilities for the first time or for regular patrons to continue to enjoy them for a reduced price when restrictions ease. This is the first time council has issued vouchers since the late 1990s, when they were offered to assist residents during the economic crisis of that period.”

Information on how to redeem the vouchers will be sent out alongside rates notices this month. Vouchers are valid until 30 June next year.
