A HOME invasion in Skye is being investigated by police.

At around 4.15am on 30 September, a man allegedly entered a home on Rangeview Drive. The occupant of the house, a 47-year-old man, was asleep at the time.

The alleged offender took car keys and stole an orange Ford hatchback. The car was dumped at a car park on Cranbourne-Frankston Road in Langwarrin at around 1.50am on 4 October.

Police say that two occupants of the stolen car left the scene of the Langwarrin car park in a black Mitsubishi, which was being driven by a third man.
