PENINSULA Leisure won four accolades at the recent Aquatics and Recreation Victoria Awards.

The Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre won a facility management of the year award. Pines Forest Aquatic Centre received the honour for best seasonal outdoor pool facility management.

In the individual awards, Peninsula Leisure employee Nicole Ross was named customer service officer of the year and Mary Albert was named group exercise instructor of the year.

Peninsula Leisure CEO Kath Thom said that winning “both the PARC and Pines facility management awards is just remarkable.”

“Our people are the core of everything we do. PARC and Pines are fantastic facilities, but it’s what we do inside those facilities – the people, the programs, the possibilities – is what makes us great, and I believe is the reason we won these awards,” she said. “We are so proud of Mary and Nicole. To deliver such a quality service, consistently, throughout such a tumultuous and inconsistent year, is beyond admirable. Both Mary and Nicole have such a strong following and support base within our PARC membership, and we are so excited to see them recognised at this level.”
