COLOURS and lights are drawing the eye at a new Frankston Arts Centre exhibition.

A Persistent Presumption is a new exhibition from creative studio Skunk Control. It is now showing at the Frankston Arts Centre’s Glass Cube Gallery as part of the South Side Festival.

Skunk Control’s Nick Athanasiou said the exhibition is “an excursion into a world adjacent to ours where guardians of light and colour are challenging an encroachment by darkness”.

“Frankston has a rich cultural tapestry. The South Side Festival provides an opportunity to be among its threads,” he said. “To be part of such a tapestry, informs future creative works and provides a genuine connection to a community that would otherwise be detached and merely an echo.”

The exhibition is on display until 10 June. It can be seen from the street.
