POLICE have released new CCTV images as part of their investigation into a hit and run in Cheltenham.
Police allege that a cyclist was hit by a Nissan Navara ute while travelling west on Centre Dandenong Road on 30 April. The collision occurred just before 6am. A 53-year-old man from Dingley was hit. The cyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the ute is now wanted by police. They believe the car sustained damage to its left fog light.
Images of a car police believe was involved in the crash have been released. The car is pictured driving past a chemist on the corner of Warrigal Road and Centre Dandenong Road shortly before the crash.

Police have asked anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppers.com.au.
