Fatal house fire in Frankston South

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal house fire in Frankston South.

Emergency services were called to a house on fire in Goldborough Court on Sunday November 3 around 6.40pm.

The fire was extinguished and sadly a body was located inside the property.

A crime scene has been established.

At this stage the cause of the fire is unknown and an investigation is ongoing.

Detectives from Frankston Crime Investigation Unit and an arson chemist are expected to attend the property in the morning.
