Armed Crime Squad detectives have arrested six people after a man was shot in Frankston North on Monday night.

It’s alleged the 36-year-old was shot during an altercation with a group of people at an Armata Crescent address about 7.20pm on 4 November.

The Dandenong man was taken to hospital where he remains with life-threatening injuries.

Special Operations Group members assisted in the arrest of a 29-year-old man, 26-year-old woman, 24-year-old man and 18-year-old woman at a Carrum Downs address this afternoon.

All were taken in custody and will be interviewed.

This follows on from the arrest of a 21-year-old man arrested at a Burwood East shopping centre yesterday evening.

He was interviewed and charged with intentionally causing serious injury and aggravated home invasion.

The Burwood East man was remanded in custody to appear in Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 5 March 2024.

Detectives also arrested a 23-year-old woman at her Mornington address this morning.

She was charged with aggravated home invasion, affray and three counts of common law assault and will appear before Melbourne Magistrates’ Court this evening.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident remains ongoing.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au
