Police investigate Bonbeach collision

Police are investigating a collision in Bonbeach overnight.

It is understood a Porsche wagon was travelling along Nepean Highway when it crashed into the fence surrounding a power substation about 2.30am.

The male driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital under police guard with serious injuries.

It is understood four other occupants of the vehicle fled on foot prior to police arrival.

Officers arrested a female, believed to have been a passenger in the Porsche, a short time later.

The remaining three occupants remain outstanding.

The investigation into the exact circumstances surrounding the collision remains ongoing.

Police are keen to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision, or anyone that might have CCTV/dashcam footage of the vehicle.
