THE annual Mordi Fest will return to Peter Scullin Reserve this weekend.
The festival takes place across Saturday 28 February and Sunday 1 March. Teenage Dads will headline Saturday night’s music lineup, followed by a performance by Joe Camilleri and The Black Sorrows on Sunday.
Kingston mayor Georgina Oxley said Mordi Fest “is one of those truly special events that captures the spirit of Kingston – relaxed, welcoming and full of life.”
“There’s nothing better than spending a summer weekend by the water with great live music, delicious food and friends and family. We’re incredibly proud to bring this event to our community and to showcase both fantastic Australian artists and our beautiful bayside setting,” she said. “Whether you’re coming along to see Teenage Dads, sing along with Joe Camilleri and The Black Sorrows, keen to check out Battle of the Bands, or simply to enjoy the atmosphere, there really is something for everyone.”
Tickets are $5 per person or $10 for families. To view the full program of performers across the three Mordi Fest stages, visit kingston.vic.gov.au/mordifest.
