THE Edithvale Fire Brigade hosted its 10th annual “All Fired Up “ Community Fun Run last Sunday, 15 March.
Runners tackled 5 kilometer, 10 kilometer, and 15 kilometer courses spanning from Edithvale Common, along the Longbeach Trail, and up to the Mordialloc Creek area and back.
Phil Jones from Edithvale Fire Brigade said the day “included some fun for kids with water displays and giveaways from the Brigade and sponsors.”
“The Brigade is a fully volunteer emergency fire, rescue and medical response unit that covers the Edithvale, Aspendale, Aspendale Gardens as its prime area with response externally as required such as to the numerous fires this season in regional areas,” he said.
