Homicide Squad detectives have charged a 78-year-old man following the death of a 78-year-old woman at Patterson Lakes on Sunday.
Police were called to a Balarang Court residence where the body of the woman was located about 9pm.
A Patterson Lakes man was arrested at the scene and has been charged with one count of murder.
He will appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court today.
