Police are currently at the scene of a fatal crash in Patterson Lakes this afternoon.
It is believed a van has struck a pedestrian in a car park outside shops on Thompson Road just after 12.30pm.
Emergency services attempted to revive the woman but she died at the scene.
The exact cause of the incident is being investigated and the male driver of the vehicle is assisting police with their enquiries.
