Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives have arrested a man after an 87-year-old woman was allegedly sexually assaulted at Aspendale Railway Station on 22 September.
A 40 year old Frankston man was arrested yesterday (7 November) morning and subsequently charged with sexual assault.
He has been bailed to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates Court on 15 December.
