Protective Service Officers caught a drink driver doing a burnout outside the Frankston police station last night.
The PSOs were walking out of the police station when they observed a Holden Commodore station wagon doing a burnout about 7.40pm.
The car was intercepted on Fletcher Road, where Frankston police members assisted the PSOs.
A preliminary breath test was conducted on the 30-year-old driver and he was taken into the station where he returned a breath test of .128.
The Cranbourne West man is expected to be charged on summons with drink driving and traffic related offences.
The car was impounded with towing costs of $1038.
The driver also is expected to be fined for breaching the Chief Health Officer’s orders.
