A CHARITY has received a $40,000 grant to expand school-based paediatric clinics in Frankston.
The grant was awarded to Menzies: Caring For Kids by Frankston Council.
Menzies: Caring For Kids president Kevin Johnson said “ongoing investment in school-based paediatric clinics will support research into the long-term impact of these services, helping to build a sustainable pathway to healthcare for the children who need it most.” “Many children from low socioeconomic backgrounds don’t see a general practitioner, let alone a paediatrician,” he said. “Funding towards this program will help change that.”
Since 2017, Menzies: Caring for Kids has delivered more than 7,600 free paediatric appointments. For more information visit menzies.org.au/how-you-can-help/
