A FRANKSTON forum will give residents an insight into the Victorian political landscape ahead of the state election in November.
The Committee for Frankston & Mornington Peninsula will host the Victoria Votes 2026 Insights Forum at Monash University Peninsula Campus in Frankston on 29 May, featuring directors of political research firm Redbridge, Kos Samaras and Tony Barry.
Samaras specialises in compiling and interpreting research, statistical data and polling to provide insight into the cause and effects of social and political issues, drawing on more than 25 years of political experience with Victorian Labor.
Barry, a former Liberal strategist, has 30 years of expertise in campaigns, communications strategy, risk management and qualitative and quantitative research, and co-hosts the weekly podcast Back to Back Barries with veteran political commentator Barrie Cassidy.
Samaras and Barry will examine voter sentiment, key election issues and lessons from recent campaigns – including the South Australian election and the 2 May Nepean by-election – and explore what national, state and local trends may mean for peninsula seats in state parliament come election day.
The forum runs from 9am to 11am. General admission tickets are $20 and are available at cfmp.org.au
