THIRTEEN candidates have nominated to contest the upcoming Kingston Council by-election.
The by-election will fill the vacancy in Melaleuca Ward. The candidates, in the order they will appear on the ballot, are Nikki Kaur, Louise Black, Peter Brown, Llewellyn Dixon-Mason, Glenn Dumbrell, Hayden Davies, Gavin Nolan, David Baker, Brian Paynter, Nicholas Bufalo, Bronwyn Currie, Joe Crupi, and Lachlan McDonald.
The by-election was triggered by the resignation of former councillor Tess Law in March.
Ballot pack mail-outs will begin on Monday, 13 July. Voting closes on Friday, 31 July, at 6pm.
