Police are currently negotiating with a man at an address in Frankston following an alleged stabbing in Seaford yesterday, (Monday 14 December).

Police were called to a Dandenong Road East address following reports that a man was armed with a knife about 5.30pm.

The armed man confronted police before going back into the home.

Attending police established a cordon around the address and began to negotiate with the man.

The surrounding area has been cordoned off as specialist police continue with their negotiations.
