Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged four people in relation to a series of thefts across Langwarrin and Caulfield in June and July. Officers executed a search warrant at a residential premises on Heath Mews this morning and allegedly seized a quantity of drugs, electrical devices, mobile phones and personal property about 8.40am. Detectives will allege some of the seized property was stolen during an aggravated burglary in the Caulfield area in June. Four people were arrested at the scene. THE final design of the redeveloped Edithvale Shopping Strip is in the works.Two years ago, Kingston Council announced it would spend $2.3 million provided by the Level Crossing Removal Project to upgrade the Edithvale Shopping Strip. The upgraded area will span 11 blocks from 280 Nepean Highway, Edithvale in the south, to north of the intersection at Nepean Highway and Natal Avenue. Council will spend another $1 million on flood mitigation.Final designs for the redevelopment have now been released, and community consultation is underway to determine the colour of the finished product. Shannon Gardner was named the “swim teacher of the year” at the 2024 Aquatics and Recreation Victoria Awards last week. FRANKSTON Council is standing its ground over an $11,500 fine handed to a resident who filled a hole near their property.It was reported last week that Frankston Council had slapped a hefty fine on a resident for illegally filling a hole on council land outside his Frankston home.
