Police allege they spotted a Volkswagen Golf with stolen plates on Frankston-Flinders Road just before 2am on 8 March. MORE than 200 requests for proposed building height limits near Kananook Creek to be reduced have been denied by Frankston Council officers.The FMAC structure plan, which outlines new preferred height limits of up to 16 storeys in Frankston’s city centre, has been out for public consultation. Moorabbin Highway Patrol officers are investigating a single-vehicle crash in Carrum this morning. It is believed the male driver was travelling along the Nepean Highway when he lost control and crashed into the brick fence of a house about 2.15am. The 44-year-old Seaford driver and sole occupant of the vehicle sustained life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital for treatment. No one else was injured. A FLEET of sailboats is gearing up to set sail for the annual Long Beach Regatta Trophy competition. Chelsea Yacht Club will host the 2024 edition of the race on 6 April. The six clubs set to compete are the Beaumaris Yacht Club, Parkdale Yacht Club, Mordialloc Sailing Club, Chelsea Yacht Club, Carrum Sailing and Motor Boat Club, and Frankston Yacht Club.The Long Beach Regatta is named after the 23 kilometer stretch of beach between Beaumaris and Frankston.
