CHANGES to parenting arrangements made through the legal system are set to come into effect next month.From 6 May, reforms to family law will begin to be applied in the courts. Among the changes are a greater focus on child safety and the abolition of the presumption of equal shared parental responsibility. THE Better Health Network in Parkdale has received a $2.6 million upgrade. The Parkdale site hosts specialist medical services, dental and allied health, nursing and counselling services, aged care support, and disability services. The new facilities at the not-for-profit are now open.The money was used to build new multi-use rooms for primary care therapies and treatment, a new reception area, telehealth-enabled consult and treatment rooms, and a self-service kitchen. TWO men have been arrested after an alleged theft, assault, and car chase through Carrum Downs and Frankston last week.Police allege that a group of people inside a stolen Mini Cooper stole petrol from McMahons Road in Frankston at around 10.30pm on 25 April. The group were involved in a theft and assault at a restaurant on Hall Road in Carrum Downs about half an hour later, police say.Police say they spotted the car in Frankston at around midnight.
