Detectives from Frankston are appealing for information after thieves broke into a building site and took several excavators for an expensive and dangerous joy ride overnight. Police were alerted to the incident by a witness who reported an excavator being driven down Beach Street about 2am. A MAN who allegedly performed burnouts as part of a gender reveal ceremony has been arrested. The two alleged gender reveal incidents occurred in Keysborough on 10 July this year, and in Dandenong South on 5 July 2020. The offender would allegedly perform burnouts, with the colour of the tyre smoke revealing the gender of an unborn baby. On 18 August, police arrested a 22-year-old Rowville man they allege was behind the wheel for the events. A MORDIALLOC life saver won five medals at an event on the Gold Coast this month. Jemma Holt competed at the Surf Life Saving Australia Pool Rescue Championships. She won one gold, two silver and two bronze medals. Mordialloc’s team consisted of Jemma Holt, her older sister Paige Holt, and her father Jonathan Holt. Cooper and Kieran Roach rounded out the team. THE front of a real estate building in Chelsea was destroyed by a car last week, 21 August. The driver was travelling along Nepean Highway when they swerved to avoid a pedestrian, clipped another car, then crashed into the building at around 4.30pm on 21 August. Paramedics, police, Fire Rescue Victoria, and Chelsea SES attended the scene. Multiple people were attended to, and one was airlifted to hospital.
