AN allegedly drunk driver will face charges after crashing into three parked cars in Langwarrin earlier this month. Police say that a 50-year-old Langwarrin woman drove into the vehicles just before 3pm on 3 March. A 51-year-old woman inside one of the parked vehicles was treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The driver was breath tested by Somerville Highway Patrol officers. She allegedly returned an evidentiary breath test reading of 0.152. A NEW Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal facility has opened in Frankston. VCAT has moved into the office building on Balmoral Street. The site is expected to be primarily used for renting, consumer, and guardianship matters. THE home of the Mordialloc Sea Scouts is set for a big upgrade. The hall at George Woods Reserve will be refurbished. A FENCED dog park has opened at Melaleuca Reserve in Langwarrin. The project was partly-funded and organised by the Langwarrin Community Centre. A LARGE gathering of drivers allegedly doing burnouts in Carrum Downs last week has ended in three arrests. Police say that they received reports that around 100 vehicles were gathered at Frankston Gardens Industrial Estate just before 11pm, 1 March. A police statement read that “a number of vehicles present were engaged in high risk driving behaviour performing burnouts in close proximity to pedestrians and other motorists”.
