A NEW MRI scanner has been installed at Frankston Hospital. The SIGNA Artist MRI machine will allow the hospital to perform 4000 more scans each year. Peninsula Health operations director for imaging and pathology Andrew Bickell said “we are developing world-leading healthcare here in Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula. Our new scanner is faster and has the latest computing power. A WOMAN died after a car crash in Carrum last week, 10 November. The woman, a 75-year-old Chelsea resident, was in a white Mazda sedan at the intersection of Station Street and McLeod Road when her car collided with a grey Toyota ute. The two occupants of the ute, a 20-year-old and 19-year-old men from Berwick, stopped to assist and were uninjured. The woman was taken to hospital, but died two days later. Council has adopted two plans, the Moorabbin Eastern Edge Urban Design Analysis and the Moorabbin West Urban Design Framework. The uniformed officers were on patrol, when they noticed a man in a silver Peugeot hatch acting suspiciously, in the vicinity of a milk bar on Hadley Street on Monday 16 November about 5pm. POLICE have impounded a monkey bike after they spotted two people driving them in Frankston North. At 12.30pm on 8 November, police saw two people on the bikes travelling onto Rosemary Crescent. One rider then drove onto Ribbon Crescent and another onto the footpath as they tried to evade police. The driver who rode on the footpath dropped the bike and fled on foot.
