JUNE Rea has been named Kingston’s woman of the year for 2020. Ms Rea was nominated for the award because of her work with the community visitors program. THREE men who stole alcohol from a Somerville shop are on the run from police. Investigators were told that the three offenders stole a large quantity of vodka from the bottle-o after they ran without making an attempt to pay, around 2.50pm 6 February. The three men have been seen at Raymond Street Reserve. Police have released an image of three people they wish to speak to. POLICE wish to speak to a woman in relation to the burglary of a credit card. Sometime between 6.15am and 6pm, 16 January, a credit card was stolen on McMahons Road, Frankston North. The card was later used at three places in St Kilda. Police have released an image (above) of a woman the wish to speak to in relation to the theft. Four men have been arrested after a series of “bikie raids”, police say. On 5 March, police executed search warrants at an OMCG clubhouse in Cranbourne West and homes in Frankston, Berwick, Hallam, and Pakenham. Four men were arrested, while drugs, cash, and weapons were seized. A 25-year-old man from Hallam, a 25-year-old man from Frankston, and a 20-year-old man from Adelaide were all arrested at the Hallam address. A 19-year-old man from Yarrawonga was also arrested at a Mount Eliza address. BIG Picture Fest will return to Frankston next weekend. Artists from Australia, Spain, Italy, and the United States will be hard at work on massive murals in Frankston’s streets. They will be working on the artworks from 19 March to 22 March. The street art festival will begin with the Block Party event on 20 March.
