Police are currently at the scene of a fatal collision in Seaford. Investigators have been told a south bound vehicle crossed over onto north bound lanes and collided head-on into a vehicle just after 6.30am. The driver and sole occupant of the north bound car died at the scene. The driver of the south bound vehicle was arrested by an off-duty member at the scene before being conveyed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A SPIKE in mail thefts has been reported to police in Kingston and Bayside areas. One offender has been charged in relation to the theft of mail. A VICTORIAN MP has called for the new Mordialloc Freeway to be named after iconic Australian band TISM. TISM, an alternate comedy band which found great success in the 90s, released a song in the late 80s called The Mordialloc Rd Duplicator. KINGSTON ratepayers will foot most of the bill for a $3 million redevelopment of the Parkdale Yacht Club. The building will be completely rebuilt for use by Parkdale Yacht Club, Kingston District Girl Guides and Beach Patrol Australia. The redevelopment will add increased storage space. Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating an aggravated burglary in Frankston. Investigators have been told at least two offenders entered the rear of a Frankston property about 3am on December 3 while a family of four were sleeping. The offenders have stolen the keys of two cars parked in the driveway and driven away.
