HAWTHORN Football Club’s new home base at Dingley Village will receive a $20 million cash boost if Labor wins the federal election this weekend. The Hawks had their new Dingley Village homebase ticked off by Kingston Council in 2016. The club purchased the 28 hectare site the same year. MAJOR Collision Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for witnesses to help with their investigation into a fatal collision in Mentone, 7 May. Investigators were told that an 80-year-old Cheltenham woman was crossing Warrigal Road at around 10.30 am when she was struck by a vehicle. She was taken to hospital but later died. Kingston Crime Investigation Unit detectives believe that a man broke into a vehicle on Talab Court, 2.30am 2 May. The man is alleged to have stolen a credit card, laptop, wallet and a large quantity of cash.
