POLICE are on the lookout for three people in relation to an alleged armed robbery at a milk bar on Hampden Avenue, 4 March, 6.30pm. Police believe three offenders arrived at the Frankston milk bar in a stolen vehicle, with two offenders entering the premises armed with hammers. The services, offered by the false business First Choice Home Solutions, range from roof repair and gutter cleaning to carpentry. GLEN Eira CIU detectives are investigating the theft of a wallet allegedly taken from a vehicle in Cheltenham. Police were told that the wallet was taken from a car on Davie Avenue overnight between 13 and 14 February. TENS of thousands of people flocked to Mordi Fest last weekend to soak in the music, rides, food, and wine on offer. It is estimated that up to 23,000 people braved the heat and attended the festival, which was headlined by the band Vaudeville Smash. They headlined Saturday night before Ash Grunwald closed the show on Sunday. Another act that took to the stage was the Tanya George Band. THE next step has been taken in the construction of the Mordialloc Freeway, with the McConnell Dowell/Decmil Joint Venture chosen as preferred tenderer for the project.
