AUTHOR Nevo Zisin will visit Frankston Library on 4 February as part of the Midsumma Festival. The writer is coming to Frankston to speak about the book ‘Finding Nevo’, an autobiography which delves into Nevo’s experiences with gender. Nevo was assigned female at birth, and after beginning the process of transitioning at age 17, now identifies as non-binary. FEDERAL MPs Chris Crewther and Greg Hunt visited headspace Frankston on 8 January to announce a $47 million funding boost to head space’s national program. Detectives from Frankston Crime Investigation Unit are investigating two robberies in Frankston in December. Investigators have been told a 20-year-old woman exited a Frankston shopping centre onto Ross Smith Avenue when she was allegedly assaulted by a group of teenage girls about 2.45pm on 14 December. One of the groups snatched her purse and they all fled the scene. It is believed some of the same offenders were allegedly involved in another robbery on 18 December.
