A GUN lobby is believed to have taken aim at Premier Daniel Andrews by putting up a large billboard on Peninsula Link saying “Not.Happy.Dan” near the Eastlink off-ramp. The large advertisement, pictured, which is seen by voters from marginal seats Frankston, Carrum and Mordialloc, urges voters to put Labor last on their ballot papers at the 24 November poll. THE state Labor Government have directed their attention towards sport in their last push to claim the win in the 24 November state election. Carrum MP Sonya Kilkenny announced the latest batch of sporting funding would be directed towards Carrum Downs Recreation Reserve upon re-election. ISAACS MP Mark Dreyfus has boasted that local schools will be millions of dollars better off if Labor win government at the federal election. Mr Dreyfus claimed that “local public schools will be $15.96 million better off under a federal Labor Government”. The Labor website fairgoforschools.com.au says that Chelsea Heights Primary School will receive $480,000 in extra funding over three years. Frankston Crime Investigation Unit detectives are investigating the theft of a valuable foal from a racing stable in Carrum Downs on Monday. The incident occurred on McCormick Road when the six week old foal named Holly was discovered missing from the property. The foal was in a paddock with a brood mare and was receiving veterinary treatment which required the foal to wear splint boots.
